Sunway Piramid

Sunway Pyramid is a distinctive retail landmark located in the heart of Petaling Jaya. It was opened in July 1997 as Malaysia's first themed shopping and entertainment mall.
One of the mall's most easily recognised design is the
Egyptian-inspired Pyramid with a lion "standing guard" at the entrance. The rest of the building is embellished in the monumental style, complete with pseudo-hieroglyphics decorating facades, along with numerous Pharonic statuaries.
Sunway Pyramid is also one of the only shopping malls in Malaysia to have an indoor
ice skating rink.
A monorail station connected to the
Kuala Lumpur Monorail was originally planned to be built here. Construction began in early 2006. However, the plan was stopped and in 2007, they are thinking of demolishing the monorail extension.
The new wing of Sunway Pyramid, called the Pyramid 2 (or P-2) was opened in 2007. It is opened to newer retailers such as
Jusco, Giant, Harvey Norman and so on. There is also a new section in P-2 called Marrakesh, derived from the place in Morocco. Expansion of the parking area to nearly 8 floors makes this place popular with tourists, local and foreign alike. It is also plays host to many exclusive boutiques.

Mid Valley Megamall

Mid Valley Megamall is a 4.5 million square feet complex comprising a shopping mall, an office tower block, 30 signature offices and 2 hotels located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was opened in November 1999.
It has about 430 shops on five and a half floors. It has five anchor tenants; Carrefour, Jusco, Golden Screen Cinemas, Metrojaya and Harvey Norman. It also houses an 18 screen cinema. Then there is a state-of-the-art bowling centre, a One-Stop IT centre, two mega food courts and also a mega bookstore called MPH.
It houses a 48 300 square foot convention centre and it is situated adjacent to a 646 room business hotel named Cititel Midvalley and 30 units of exclusive 11 storey signature offices. A second hotel, Boulevard, opened in mid 2005. It has 390 rooms. Mega Mall is a key part of Mid Valley City, one of the country's largest urban development projects. It was awarded the Best Shopping Complex Award 2000 by Tourism Malaysia and Best Retail Development Award 2001 by FIABCI Malaysia. It has become one of Malaysia's most popular tourist destinations.
After The Gardens completed in 2007, it is linked to Mid Valley Megamall through a bridge. Not many knows about the existence of this bridge, though, as it is hidden by Oasis, one of the main food courts in the Megamall, which probably contributes to the highest contrast between crowds of the two shopping centres.

Berjaya Times Square

Berjaya Times Square KL is a building containing a huge shopping centre and two five star hotels located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was opened in October 2003 by the then Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir bin Mohamed.

It is tagged as the "world's largest building ever built in a single phase", with 7.5 million square feet of built up floor area. It is set to become an international landmark offering shopping, luxury accommodation, business, food and abundant entertainment.

Currently, it has space for more than 1000 retail shops, 1200 luxury service suites, 65 food outlets to suit many tastes and entertainment attractions such as Asia's largest indoor theme park, Cosmo's World and Malaysia's first ever IMAX 2D & 3D theatre which is located on the 10th floor. In April 2005, Borders Group opened its first franchise store here. Currently, the store is the largest Borders store in the world. Other popular stores include Metrojaya, which is a multi-level major department store, and many more.

The Kuala Lumpur Monorail's Imbi station is linked to the building by a footbridge.
