Sunway Lagoon


Sunway Lagoon is an amusement park in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. It features rides in both the water park and the adjacent dry park. The park has slowly been adding rides and play areas, with the aim of substantially improving the attraction by 2008.
Attractions and rides

Waters of Africa
This is the park's latest attraction and simulates a journey into the African wilderness. It has water slides and other rides and attractions, as listed below:

Sunway Surf Beach (Formerly known as Jeffrey's Bay) - Now with real sand!

World of Adventure
This features the longest pedestrian suspension bridge measuring 428 meters from where we can see the whole amusement park from a great height. It features the following attractions:

Pirate's Revenge - The 360 degrees rotating Pirate Ship!
Tiger Adventure
Scholar Rocks Exhibition - Rocks that take thousands of years to form.

Kalahari Kids
This section of the park is exclusively for kids and is enclosed in a fence ensuring high safety. It features many fountains and also small, kid-size water slides. It is mainly a pool and made to look like a small African village in a tranquil setting. Kids are lucky if they come to Sunway Lagoon on a hot day!
Wild Wild West
This place is designed in such a way that it makes you feel like walking on a street in a cowboy style town in a movie filled with saloons, dancing girls, cowboys, horses, totem poles and so on. It features the following attractions:

Voodoo River Adventure
The Voodoo River is also known as Juju in Africa and this journey through a 'replica' of the river is not to be missed. This river originated among the Yoruba people of that time. The journey compromises of going into the mystic waters of a river, as if in a fairy tale!
